Interventional cardiology

In the interventional cardiology department within ICCO Clinics from Brasov we carry out minimally invasive procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases: coronarography, arteriography, angioplasty, endoprosthesis for the aorta aneurysm, but also surgical interventions such as implantation of pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators and resynchronization systems.

Our team, headed by specialist physicians known throughout the country, relocated from the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases from Targu Mures and Cluj-Napoca, using extremely advanced medical techniques provides to all patients quality health care services at European standards, according to the needs of each patient.

The minimally invasive surgical techniques have multiple advantages for patients: the procedure is quick, with a minimal of discomfort, the hospitalization and recovery periods are short and the current activity may be shortly resumed after treatment, the intervention is carried out with regional anaesthesia, and the postoperative pain is reduced.
