Interventional cardiology and cardiovascular surgery
In the cardiology and cardiovascular consulting rooms, we also have at our disposal the necessary equipment to carry out investigations: electrocardiography, exercise electrocardiography, echocardiography, Doppler echocardiography and arterial pressures, Holter monitoring. We also carry out the tilt-test (tilt table test) common in the assessment of heart failures, as well as event-loop-recorder implant – a permanent and lasting monitoring system for the cardiac rhythm, extremely simple to implant and subsequently to explant. Moreover, we have the possibility of monitoring, programming and reprogramming the cardiac implants (pacemakers, defibrillators, event-loop-recorder), major procedures for increasing the uptime of these systems and for the timely detection of the moment when they should be replaced. In this way, patients may have performed, quickly and in the same day with the consultation, all investigations necessary for a correct diagnosis and an adequate treatment.
Orthopaedics and Traumatology
The equipment fitted in the orthopaedics consulting room allows the performance of different specific medical manoeuvres, immobilization by means of plaster splints, small surgery manoeuvres, wound dressing, injections and infiltrations.
The Siemens roentgen-diagnosis device is useful for all specializations, allowing the making of x-ray films useful for establishing the diagnosis.
