Starting with May 1, 2015, the National Health Card has become the only system of validation and reimbursement of medical services in the health insurance system. According to the legislation in force, National Health Insurance Funder Decree 98/2015, the patient will prove that s/he is insured and will validate the medical and pharmaceutical services that s/he receives, using this card.
